For this full-home condo project, Sklar Studio was given every designer’s dream: complete creative freedom. The homeowner, already a familiar face to our team, wanted their new Alina residence to feel like a true forever home. That meant bold choices, cozy comforts, and custom solutions tailored to their lifestyle.
From Lounge to Game Night: A Multi-Functional Entertaining Zone
Right off the main entry, the lounge area unfolds into two distinct zones—one designed for casual relaxation, the other for friendly competition.
The lounge area strikes a perfect balance between sculptural beauty and everyday comfort. The Quentin Curved Sofa sets the tone with its inviting shape, paired with the low-profile After9 Coffee Table. The Clip Armchair adds an architectural touch, while the soft hues from the area rug and warm lighting overhead add depth and dimension. Every element works in harmony to create a space that feels both polished and personal.
At the heart of the game room section is the beautifully crafted Tuttuno Multi-Game Table, perfect for hosting guests or enjoying a quiet night in. Overhead, the Acqua Pendant Light brings artisanal flair, its handblown Murano glass lending a whimsical touch. The lounge’s custom built-in unit, designed to bridge the game and seating areas, keeps everything cohesive in a palette of serene neutrals.
Living & Dining Spaces: Modern Flow with Personality
This open concept space was designed to feel lived in from the moment you step inside. The living area unfolds with a quiet sense of elegance, featuring soft curves, layered textures, and just enough structure to keep things feeling polished. It is a space that invites conversation, with the Mercury Sectional and Quentin Swivel Armchairs arranged to encourage flow between lounging, entertaining, and everyday life. The sculptural Cubi Coffee Table anchors the room without stealing attention, while the custom wall unit adds both purpose and personality, keeping the space visually connected without overwhelming the eye.
Just steps away, the dining area builds on that same energy. It is open, refined, and undeniably personal. A dramatic glass top Neolitico Dining Table, paired with tailored Amet Dining Chairs, becomes the centerpiece for everything from weeknight dinners to holiday gatherings.
The kitchen nearby carries the same thoughtful approach, with coordinating Amet Stools pulled up to the island; however, the kitchen island received a thoughtful redesign. Instead of seating wrapped all the way around, vertical wood slats soften the visual transition and strike a balance between form and function that reflects the homeowner’s love of clean lines and clever design.
Master Bedroom: A Floral Escape with Luxe Details
This bedroom was designed as a true sanctuary, layered with softness, elegance, and a touch of whimsy. The moment you enter, your eyes are drawn to the walls, wrapped in the Magic Garden Wallpaper that brings the entire space to life. It sets the tone for a room that feels more like a personal escape than just a place to sleep.
Furnishings were chosen for their sense of quiet luxury, featuring soft curves, tailored finishes, and a cohesive rhythm that ties the space together. The matching Plissé bed, nightstands, and dresser all echo the same lines, adding refinement without formality.
Overhead, the glimmering Jackie O Chandelier creates a focal point that feels more like art than lighting, while the Arbor Floor Lamp in the corner adds just the right amount of glow for late-night reading or winding down at the end of the day.
Custom Work, Personalized Living
Throughout the home, custom design touches blur the line between furniture and architecture. The client wished to adapt the layout to better suit their lifestyle. This included reconfiguring a secondary bathroom into a private laundry room and designing custom closets that met precise storage needs.
