• Modular wall- or ceiling-mounted bookcase system
• Functions as shelving or room divider
• Customizable layouts with variable shelf and box sizes
• Designed by Giorgio Cattelan
• Made in Italy
The Freeway Modular Bookcase is a striking expression of architectural balance and Italian craftsmanship, conceived by Cattelan Italia. Designed as a flexible, modular system, Freeway transforms shelving into a graphic, sculptural composition—equally suited as a wall-mounted bookcase, a ceiling-suspended installation, or a dramatic room divider in open-plan interiors. Its clean metal lines and floating volumes create a sense of rhythm and lightness while maintaining a bold, contemporary presence.
Designed to adapt seamlessly to your space, the Freeway Modular Bookcase offers variable shelf and box lengths that allow for irregular, customized layouts. Metal shelves and integrated storage boxes introduce both visual contrast and everyday functionality, while a refined palette of embossed metal, lacquered wood, and bronze glass elevates the composition. Whether placed against a wall, in a corner, or freestanding as a divider, Freeway delivers a sophisticated solution that balances form, function, and personal expression.
