The Nelson Upholstered Bed pairs an architectural low-profile wooden frame with a maxi fully upholstered headboard, creating a floating silhouette that anchors the modern bedroom.
The Nelson Upholstered Bed, designed by Andrea Lucatello for Cattelan Italia in 2014, is built around the idea of pure geometric volumes that seem to float in the air. The low-profile frame in Canaletto walnut or burned oak stained ashwood provides a warm, natural foundation, while the oversized headboard commands the room with its fully upholstered surface, available in fabric, micro nubuck, synthetic leather, or soft leather from Cattelan Italia's extensive sample card. The result is a refined architectural presence that reads as both restrained and expressive, a bed that completes a modern bedroom without overwhelming it. Wood slats are included. Six size configurations accommodate mattress widths from 60 1/4" to 78 3/4", with extended depth options available in select sizes.
