The Dafne Dining Chair by Cattelan Italia is a distinctive upholstered armchair conceived by CS LAB as a small throne for the contemporary dining room. Its cone-shaped base and body are rich in bespoke details, with upholstery that wraps around the base like a cloak to reveal a polished metal breastplate on the front. The seat and backrest are modelled like two complementary shells with a polygonal silhouette, softened by rounded edges and gentle curves, while an elliptical cutout in the backrest frames the interior like a jewel. The frame is finished in titanium or bronze embossed lacquered steel, and the upholstery is available across Cattelan Italia’s full range of soft leathers, glove soft leathers, and synthetic leathers.
