Greta Dining Armchair

The Greta Dining Armchair by Cattelan Italia is an upholstered chair with armrests built around a play of contrasts: upholstered and rigid materials, full and empty volumes, welcoming and incisive forms. The seat is separated from a large wrap-around cushion that joins the back to the armrests, and its hollow structure makes the cushion very comfortable, finished with four stitches that create a soft, refined capitonné effect. The floating backrest is a curved, contoured cylinder that wraps around the back and ends in upholstered armrests. Three slender legs, with the central rear leg formed by two legs placed close together, give the chair a light, balanced presence. The metal version has legs in elliptical-section steel tube with embossed lacquered finishes, while the Greta Wood version has legs in Canaletto walnut or burned oak stained ashwood. Upholstery is available in fabric, micro nubuck, synthetic leather, or soft leather, and the cover is not removable. Greta is part of a complete seating family that includes a stool, a lounge armchair, and an outdoor chair.
