We love to see new trends in furnishing and interior design, and the colors of the year are always a big event. Fresh new hues by the biggest names in paint are always welcome—and a great option for planning any on-trend updates. With that in mind, it’s time to review 2025’s colors of the year!

Pantone’s color of 2025 is an intriguing brown they call Mocha Mousse. This comforting and rich hue indicates that earth tones and natural hues are making a comeback, and in terms of being cozy it’s not that different from Pantone’s 2024 color, Fuzzy Peach.
We love the sensorial aspects of this color: it’s peaceful, it’s relaxing, it invites us to be at ease. Mocha Mousse is a great fit for complementary tan and ochre hues, with which it can create an incredibly welcoming, soft, and inviting atmosphere. It can also work to soften stark color schemes by interrupting harder colors.
Soft fabrics, round edges, and less-angular pieces make a great complement for Mocha Mousse. Think round tables, organic forms for lighting and accessories, and curvy inviting seating such as the Peonia.
Sherwin Williams chose to celebrate their 15th color of the year with a ‘capsule’ containing 9 color picks. These 9 colors are grounded, natural, well-balanced takes on classics and favorites—the capsule contains a selection of colors sufficient for any gorgeous space and continues the earth-tone, natural color theme started by Pantone.
Of the 9 colors, we found Bosc Pear to be the most enchanting. This luxurious golden brown has a gorgeous look, and makes for an amazing wall paint, accent, or as the color of a large piece of furniture such as the Fastlove Sofa. Bosc Pear has a lightness and dynamism that isn’t always present in earth tones, making it a little more energetic and invigorating.

For 2025, Benjamin Moore chose Cinnamon Slate—a blend of mauve, maroon, and dark gray; or consider a plum seen at a distance in the dusk. This sumptuous and delightful color is deep, dark, and solid, but not outside the restful, intimate theme of the other color picks for 2025.
With its refined and inviting look, Cinnamon Slate is a great pairing with black and white, creating a pop of energy in a minimalist palette. Soft textures are another solid pairing with this formidable color. Glossy, dark metals such as copper and bronze, or fine glass items are another excellent complement for Cinnamon Slate. For example, a reflective and big piece such as the Caadre mirror on a Cinnamon Slate wall would make a ravishing impression.
We love the return to earth tones—versatile colors with restful, natural vibes that offer an oasis of calm from the pressures of the outside world. For your home, it’s hard to go wrong with comfy and cozy, especially in more intimate spaces. Being less attention-grabbing, these shades can work well with a wide range of textures and materials, from the more industrial look of glass, metal, and plastic pieces to the more artisanal look of wood, leather, and fabric.
If you want to capture the colors of 2025 to make your space more on trend, more comfortable, or simply more to your liking, we can help you catch the look and style to make your home perfect for you.
