Color has the power to completely change how a room looks and feels, and if the latest forecast from Sherwin-Williams is any indication, 2027 is shaping up to be a year of greater creativity, individuality, and connection in interior design.
Sherwin-Williams has unveiled its 2027 Colormix Trend Forecast, Rewild, a collection of 48 colors selected by the brand’s Trendsight Team to reflect where color and design are heading next. Rather than centering on one particular look, the 2027 color forecast encourages a more intuitive approach to decorating, giving homeowners and designers the freedom to experiment and create spaces that feel personal.
The forecast is organized around three distinct design stories: Revive, Reignite, and Reconnect. Together, they point toward some of the biggest 2027 interior color trends, including renewed appreciation for colors with history, more expressive combinations, and palettes inspired by our connection to the natural world.
