Celebrating Women: Sklar Furnishings Hosts 40 Over 40 Event
At Sklar Furnishings, we believe in celebrating the unique stories and beauty of every woman. Last year, LuAnn Warner-Prokos launched the incredible 40 Over 40 event, an empowering campaign supporting and recognizing women in our community and asked Sklar Furnishings to partner on this incredible journey. We are proud to sponsor this event again this year in our Showroom.
LuAnn Warner-Prokos is an award-winning photographer. Women always struggle to see the best in themselves. It is hard to see themselves the way the world does. LuAnn’s photography style aims to capture the essence of each woman’s individuality. She guides each participant, teaching them how to be a model, and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones. The result? Stunning portraits that reveal the inherent beauty within.
Every woman has a unique story, and 40 Over 40 is about showcasing the imperfectly perfect narratives that make up everyone’s life. The goal is to highlight the vulnerability and strengths of each woman.
The photographs, a testament to the diverse stories and faces of the women in our community, will be displayed throughout the Sklar showroom. This event is more than just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of the beauty that lies within every woman.
The ambiance will be set with delightful food, music, and champagne, creating a space for connection and celebration. What makes this event even more special is the chance for participants to see each other’s photographs. It’s an opportunity for shared experiences and mutual admiration.
Sklar Furnishings is honored to host this event, and our Vice President of Customer Relations, Linda Paton, will be present to support and celebrate all women. LuAnn’s question, “What makes you YOU?” will echo through the showroom, and the answers, captured in breathtaking portraits, will speak volumes about the incredible women in our community.
