Located in a prestigious golf community in Palm Beach Gardens, Jill Freiburg’s new construction home was designed to reflect both the luxury of its surroundings and the individuality of its owner.

The client came to Sklar with a clear vision: she wanted special pieces. From the start, she gravitated toward sophisticated forms and design-forward brands—pieces that would feel distinctly hers. The result is a warm, contemporary home where every detail feels considered, and every room offers its own quiet moment of luxury.

Dining and Living Space: Bold Proportions, Effortless Harmony

The dining room quickly became the heart of the project. Sklar Studio designed the space around the Origami Dining Table, a sculptural piece with a beveled glass top cut in an angular, faceted shape that recalls its namesake. The table’s base adds dramatic weight, while the softened, layered edges of the glass bring an unexpected elegance. Surrounding it, the Atlantic Dining Chairs were upholstered in warm tones to complement the flooring and kitchen finishes, balancing formal symmetry with soft materiality.

Above, the Comete Chandelier introduces subtle drama—a rain of ribbed glass tubes arranged in a constellation-like form that shifts depending on the angle of view. Taken together, the pieces form a gallery-like setting for everyday living.

“The dining table really became the highlight of the project. The cut of the glass alone is like a piece of art.”

—Camila Harasic, Vice President of Design / Sklar Studio

The adjacent living room required large-scale pieces to suit its generous proportions. A massive custom Cubi Sectional anchors the space, paired with two-toned Nicole Armchairs, the Slide Coffee Table, and a statement rug scaled to the room’s footprint. Together, the space feels expansive yet grounded — designed for both comfort and quiet elegance.

Kitchen and Breakfast Nook: Tailored Function, Refined Finish

The kitchen, designed by Poliform, sets a sleek and architectural tone. Five Amet Stools line the kitchen island, echoing the metallic and modern finishes throughout the space. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dedicated breakfast nook, featuring a Signore Degli Anelli Dining Table — modified in size and featuring a gold base and rounded glass top for a softer footprint. Matching Amet Dining Chairs offer stylish continuity between the kitchen and the nook.

Lounge: Sculptural Comfort with a Relaxed Edge

Set apart from the main kitchen and dining areas, the lounge offers a more casual, tucked-away retreat. A sculptural Gogan Sofa in crisp white anchors the room with its organic silhouette, complemented by two Ruff Chairs in khaki beige leather for contrast and character. A bronze-finished Arena Coffee Table completes the space, offering an artful balance of form and function. The result is a serene, design-forward environment ideal for relaxed conversation or quiet moments of pause.

Master Bedroom: Customization at Its Peak

In the master bedroom, soaring ceilings called for a design solution with vertical impact. Sklar Studio worked closely with the client to customize the Dafne Bed, extending the upholstered panels all the way to the ceiling to emphasize height and create a sense of drama. The panels stop at the edge of the bed, making room for a striking silk-thread wallpaper behind the Onda Nightstands — a surface that shifts in character with changing light. Floating above each nightstand, Manta Pendants add a sculptural glow, casting soft, organic shadows that accentuate the room’s layered elegance.

To improve livability in the primary bedroom, where the bed sat nearly 25 feet from the TV wall, Sklar Studio designed a small seating area closer to the screen—turning the long room into a multi-zone retreat. The look is completed with the Reflex Movie TV Unit, two Quentin Swivel Chairs in a rich fabric that matches the color of the nightstands, and a Dipped Edge Rug that adds an organic, sculptural layer beneath. Two floor lamps — the Morning Glory and Horn Lamp in light cream tones — add a final artistic touch.

The second floor of the home includes five additional rooms—an office, den, and three bedrooms—most of which were also furnished by Sklar. The project remains ongoing, with plans to complete the outdoor areas in a future phase.
