The Fil de Fer light fixture is made of shaped, woven aluminum wire that is lit from the inside by tiny bulbs. It is the creation closest to the heart of Enzo Catellani. A special commission developed almost twenty years ago, it was never used for that project and was hung in his workshop. Every time it was switched on, its magical atmosphere enchanted everyone. As a result, Enzo Catellani continued working on it. After being put on the market, the lamp quickly became the most iconic lighting fixture in Catellani & Smith's collection.
