The Chimera Coffee Table by Arketipo is a sculptural all-glass low table by Dainelli Studio, where a single curved and hammered glass sheet bends at three points to simultaneously form both surface and base.
The Chimera Coffee Table by Arketipo is a sculptural all-glass low table designed by Dainelli Studio in 2020. Constructed from a single piece of curved and hammered glass 12mm thick, the top bends at three strategic points so the sinuous form cradles the structure that supports it, eliminating any separate base. The special hammered glass treatment allows light to play across the surface, creating the impression of waves rippled by wind. Available in smoked glass or Pacific Blue glass, the Chimera comes in three heights for individual use or choreographic groupings: the largest extends to 71⅝" wide at just 11" tall; the smallest stands 16⅛" high in a compact 42⅛" footprint. Tables can be mixed across heights and compositions, with a set-of-two option pairing the large and small configurations.
