The Bouquet Swivel Lounge Chair is defined by a dense field of folded textile elements that wrap the seat in a continuous, layered surface. Each piece of fabric is gathered and applied by hand, forming a circular composition that reads less like upholstery and more like a blooming structure. The volume sits lightly on a slender central stem, lifting the form off the floor and emphasizing its rounded, enveloping silhouette.
Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka, the chair is constructed with injected polyurethane foam over an internal steel frame, supported by a powder-coated swivel base with neoprene glides. The removable microfiber cover is composed of individually applied fabric squares, creating both texture and depth across the surface. The Bouquet Swivel Lounge Chair functions as a statement seating piece, balancing structural engineering with a highly tactile, couture-like finish.
