The Luma File Pedestal by BDI is a compact office storage cabinet with a sliding solid wood top tray, two locking drawers, and a letter/legal-compatible file drawer, designed as a companion to the Luma desk collection.
The Luma File Pedestal is designed by BDI Design Studio as part of the Luma Office Collection, a compact storage cabinet built to sit beside any Luma desk and keep everyday essentials within reach. The solid wood top panel glides forward on hidden slides, providing quick access to staplers, notepads, and other supplies. Below, two drawers offer flexible organization: the upper drawer handles office supplies, while the lower drawer accommodates hanging files in both letter and legal sizes on adjustable rails, with a soft-close mechanism for smooth, quiet operation. A single integrated lock secures both drawers. Rounded edges mirror the sculpted lines of the Luma desk, and a finished back panel allows the pedestal to stand freely in open spaces or tuck cleanly against a wall. Crafted from hardwood solids and natural wood veneers with a smooth satin finish in Natural Walnut.
