The Liber Bookcase by Luca Papini for Tonelli Design is a glass bookcase and display system — available in transparent, extra clear, smoked, and bronze glass with a mirrored base — in tall, low, console, and sideboard configurations with optional wood or leather drawers.
Designed by Luca Papini for Tonelli Design in 2013, the Liber Bookcase grows from a single geometric idea into a complete family of glass objects: tall bookcases, low display units, side and bedside tables, consoles, and sideboards — all sharing the same pure geometry and mirrored base. The glass structure comes in transparent, extra clear, smoked, or bronze, and each piece rests on adjustable feet with a base in matching mirror that lifts and lightens the form. Drawers can be added to any configuration: in matt white lacquered wood, RAL custom lacquer, Canaletto walnut, Siberian ash, or Eucalipto with a leather pull, or in dark leather. The Liber 60 and Liber 100 introduce inclined glass sides that allow curvilinear and angled compositions, while the Liber M adds a low glass sideboard with feet. Pieces from the family can be used individually or composed into large-scale arrangements.
