The Air Study Bookshelf by Daniele Lago is a self-standing modular bookcase with a built-in desk — floating on glass supports, extending to the ceiling, and fully configurable in size, layout, materials, and finish.
Designed by Daniele Lago for LAGO, the Air Study Bookshelf is a modular bookcase and desk system that appears to float on slender glass supports, allowing natural light to pass beneath and lending an airy, architectural quality to any room. Self-standing and requiring no wall fixing, it can be placed freely in the space — including the center of a room — where it acts as a room divider while providing a complete study environment. The integrated Air desk folds out from the unit, and optional storage modules, drawers, and cabinets can be added at any level. Internal LED lighting and built-in electrical sockets make the composition fully functional. Available in lacquer, wildwood, metal, and glass finishes, with a double-sided finish option for compositions used as dividers.
