Utopia and Utility

Utopia & Utility is a European design studio founded in 2012 by siblings Pia and Moritz Wüstenberg, crafting stunning functional sculptures—primarily stacking glass, wood, metal, and ceramic vessels—each handmade by skilled artisans across Europe, marrying form, purpose, and storytelling.

Launched in 2012 and designed in Finland, Utopia & Utility is brought to life by skilled craftspeople—from glassblowers in Czechia and the UK, to woodturners in Germany and Finland, to metalworkers across Europe. Their distinctive Stacking Vessels offer modular, artful containers that function as both décor and utility. With a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, small-batch production, and ethical craftsmanship, Utopia & Utility celebrates natural materials and timeless design, creating meaningful pieces that enrich interiors and elevate everyday experiences.
