Cattelan Italia

Founded in 1979 by Giorgio and Silvia Cattelan, this Italian atelier has firmly established itself as a leading design house. Giorgio Cattelan came from a carpentry family in a small village called Thiene, and he and Silvia started out producing marble tables and accessories before gradually expanding.

From humble beginnings, the family firm grew to world-straddling proportions. Today, Cattelan is sold in 150 countries, by more than 350 certified dealers. Giorgio and Silvia’s sons Lorenzo and Paolo began assuming responsibility for the company in 1995, and Cattelan remains family operated. While these days Giorgio manages a vineyard in Florence, he continues to oversee the brand’s image. Cattelan is famed for creating striking light fixtures, accents, and furniture for every room in the home.
