What an incredible opportunity to meet the master glass artist himself and get some of his whimsical and unique pieces signed to truly make them one-of-a-kind. In 1993 Stanislaw’s sons Pawel and Wiktor Borowski took the helm of the glass studio. In addition to Stanislaw’s own one-of-a-kind objects, they now design a collection of studio glass that has become very popular with art and glass collectors.

We are extremely proud of our customer-centric process. It all starts with a visit to our showroom. One of our talented Design Associates will greet you and will be available to guide you and answer questions as you stroll through our 22,000 square foot showroom. Following your lead, whether you want to just browse uninterrupted, have a specific request, or not sure where to start, your needs are always top of mind.

If you would like to continue with a Designer, the next step would be a home visit. This unique and valuable component of our process ensures that your Designer really gets a feel for your style and needs. Reviewing your current space, furniture, and style, your Designer can create or modify a floor plan to ensure that space planning, balance and comfort are all addressed equally in the finished look.

After the home visit, your Designer will finalize the designs to include furniture, fabric, finishes, and even paint and wallpaper colors to accentuate the new look. A presentation of the detailed floor plan will allow you to provide feedback and update the plan as necessary, making any final touches and confirming your requirements and needs.

Throughout the delivery phase, your Designer will update you regularly, keeping you aware of timing and confirming the schedule of our white glove delivery team. Oftentimes we have seasonal customers, who have winter homes in Florida, or summer homes elsewhere in the country or abroad. We personalize our delivery methods to ensure you’re completely satisfied.

To help bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer, Sklar Furnishings President, Rick Howard, has pledged to wear a pink shirt for the entire month of October. In addition, we pledge to raise a minimum of $2,500 for American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5k walk on October 22.

To help us meet our donation amount, we will be raffling off a Limited Edition Nima Oberoi “Heart with Wings” sculpture (value $650). Tickets are available on location at Sklar Furnishings. Prices for tickets are the following:

Sklar Furnishings recently won several awards at the Design Excellence Awards 2016 ceremony by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). We won awards in the following categories:

You hear it all the time — “we have amazing or generous or kind or smart staff on our team”. Well, at Sklar Furnishings we truly do, and we would love to share the story.

Felipe Galindo, who has been with us for over 10 years as our head installer, is all of the above. Felipe has a wonderful gift — he is an extremely accomplished artist who does portraits that take your breath away, they are so realistic (www.fgportraits.net). A few weeks ago, he decided to hand-paint simple white canvas running shoes in many different themes, from Frozen to Star Wars to Dory and anything else you could imagine.

Felipe’s plan is simple — he will take all of the profits from selling them and buy shoes (which again he will decorate) and distribute them to kids in need. Selling Wacky Shoes at $50 a pair has already allowed him to send 8 pairs to his native Colombia, and to purchase another 20 pairs which are promised for the Florence Fuller Grade 4 Snoopy class graduation August 4th — guess who will be on all of those shoes!
