In a heartwarming effort this November, Sklar Furnishings is collaborating with 4Kids of South Florida for a Pajama Drive. The partnership highlights the remarkable work that 4Kids has been doing in the community for the past 27 years. They’ve been a source of hope for children entering the foster care system, providing love, care, and a safe haven.

The Importance of 4Kids Supporting Children in Foster Care

4Kids of South Florida serves a crucial role in supporting children who find themselves in foster care. Their mission is clear: to assist these children and work alongside parents to create a plan to reunite them in the future.

In South Florida, the foster care situation has reached a critical level. It’s a crisis that deserves recognition. With this Pajama Drive, Sklar Furnishings and 4Kids aim to bring awareness to the people who might not be aware that an alarming average of 7 to 10 children enter the foster care system daily.

4Kids isn’t just striving to provide support to this vulnerable group of children; but they aim to be the voice of these children in the fight against this crisis.

Sklar Furnishings Joins Hands with 4Kids for a Pajama Drive

Last year, our Pajama Drive was a tremendous success, thanks to our wonderful community’s support. We joined forces with 4Kids, a dedicated organization making a profound difference in the lives of children in foster care. In speaking with Karen Granger from 4Kids, we gained valuable insights into their mission, the challenges they face, and their unwavering dedication to creating a brighter future for children.

This year, we’re excited to continue the tradition and invite you to join us in making a difference.

From November 5th to 30th, drop off new pajamas at the Sklar Furnishings Showroom and help us bring comfort and warmth to children in need. Thank you for your continued support!
