Sklar Furnishings has been a proud partner in the Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity for nearly 20 years. As a volunteer-driven organization, Habitat for Humanity provides a hand up to families in need of safe and affordable housing.

Our Commitment to Habitat for Humanity

Sklar Furnishings has been a committed supporter of this organization since its inception, and we are proud to have contributed to the construction and funding of six homes for deserving families.

Our commitment to Habitat for Humanity runs deep. Our Chairman, Rick Howard, served on the Board of Directors for 10 years and played a critical part in the organization’s success. As a board member, he was actively involved in the decision-making processes and worked to ensure that the organization was efficiently managed.

In addition to donating time and resources to the Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity, Sklar Furnishings also donates products to be sold in their Resale Stores. The proceeds from these stores are a critical source of income for the organization. The money raised through these stores helps fund the building of homes, as well as other programs such as home repair and weatherization. The proceeds also fund the organization’s administrative costs, providing a stable source of income for the organization.

We are proud to have been a part of the Palm Beach County Habitat for Humanity for 20 years, and we are committed to continuing our support in the future. As an organization, we understand the importance of affordable housing and the role it plays in creating safe and healthy communities.
