At Sklar Furnishings, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. That’s why we are proud to partner with The Achievement Centers for Children and Families during the Boca Chamber Days in August.

Achievement Centers for Children and Families has been serving the children and families of Palm Beach County since 1969. As a nonprofit organization, their goal is to provide affordable quality care to children while supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.

The Boca Chamber Days Festival (BCFD) serves as the Boca Chamber’s outreach to the nonprofit community. Nonprofit Chamber Members, like Achievement Centers, collaborate with for-profit Chamber Members to hold events throughout the month of August. These events aim to raise awareness and funds for the philanthropic efforts of the nonprofit members.

Hosting 101: Sklar Furnishings Supports Achievement Centers

Understanding the significance of this community initiative, Sklar Furnishings has teamed up with Achievement Centers for a unique event called Hosting 101. Guests will be able to purchase tickets to learn various hosting techniques and have a lot of fun! The event will be held in the Sklar Showroom on Thursday, August 24th, from 6-8 pm. 

Partnering with Grimes Tents and Events, an incredible company in Delray Beach, we will provide table setups where attendees can explore cocktail making, wine tasting, charcuterie board preparation, napkin folding, and tablescape design.

Supporting Achievement Centers Beyond Boca Chamber Days

Sklar Furnishings is proud to continue our involvement by supporting The Achievement Centers in other events throughout the year. Their signature fundraiser, The Home Tour, in Delray Beach attracts hundreds of people who want to take a peak into incredible homes in our backyard!

We wholeheartedly believe in Achievement Centers’ mission and their impact on Palm Beach County. By partnering with them during the Boca Chamber Days, we hope to contribute to their ongoing success and help create a brighter future for the children and families they serve.
