4 archiproducts design award winners to watch 1

Each year, the Archiproducts Design Awards spotlight the most forward-thinking pieces in global design—honoring furniture, lighting, and lifestyle products that blend aesthetics, function, and innovation. At Sklar Furnishings, we take pride in curating award-winning designs that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the home.

This year, several standout pieces from Sklar Furnishings’ collection were recognized on the international stage. Today, we’re spotlighting four award-winning designs that truly exemplify innovation, elegance, and craftsmanship.

1. Mezz’aria Chair by Lago

Prepare to fall in love with the chair that’s making waves across the design world.

Named a winner of the 2025 Archiproducts Design Awards, the Mezz’aria Chair by LAGO, designed by Daniele Lago himself, redefines what it means to sit in style. With its rear cantilevered seat and absence of back legs, Mezz’aria creates the illusion of floating—capturing the brand’s signature focus on lightness, freedom, and balance. Beneath its sculptural beauty lies intelligent design. The ergonomic structure subtly flexes to support the sitter’s movement, while quilted or smooth upholstery invites luxurious comfort.

“With Mezz’Aria we wanted to give shape to this idea of suspension, of freedom, of balance between matter and dream. I believe that design should be able to lighten not only spaces, but also souls.”

 – Daniele Lago, President & Head of Design LAGO.

2. Scambio Ping Pong Table by Impatia

Winner of the Archiproducts Design Award in the Tech & Lifestyle category, the Scambio Ping Pong Table by Impatia is anything but ordinary. A bold fusion of low-iron glass legs and a rich walnut or rosewood surface, Scambio transforms a recreational classic into a sculptural design statement.

Handcrafted in Italy and packed with subtle luxuries—integrated drawers, chrome accents, and a removable leather net—this piece balances performance with aesthetics in a way few products can. When the game is over, Scambio effortlessly transitions into a stunning dining table.

3. Amia Chair by Miniforms

Conceived with the comfort of a sofa and the grace of Italian tailoring, the Amia Chair by Miniforms was honored with an award and is making its way to the Sklar showroom soon.

Designed by the Italian studio e-ggs for Miniforms, Amia is defined by its legs that mirror each other cross-wise, forming a subtly squared backrest as a distinctive feature. Its refined upholstery enhances the clean lines and rounded forms, delivering both visual lightness and everyday comfort.

Available with or without armrests, Amia is crafted to shine in both residential dining rooms and commercial interiors alike.

4. Itaca Outdoor Collection by Talenti

Inspired by the mythic journey of Ulysses and imagined by designer Carlo Colombo, the Itaca Collection by Talenti invites you to create your own outdoor oasis—modular, serene, and deeply luxurious.

Itaca reinterprets outdoor living with island-like modules that connect and separate with ease, allowing for endless compositions. The collection features rounded Accoya® wood bases, softened as if shaped by the sea, and accented by travertine and marble tabletops for added elegance.

From tranquil corner lounges to fully styled outdoor dining areas, Itaca is an invitation to slow down and enjoy your own archipelago of comfort.
